Journal
of Advance Science International is a Multi-disciplinary journal available digitally
and in print version. Research papers and review articles of general
significance are the two acceptable categories of submission. The journal
publishes original research work that contributes significantly to further the
scientific knowledge in the physical world on disciplinary subjects of science
such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology and Environmental Sciences. It
focuses on the impact of human actions on terrestrial and aquatic life. On the
other-hand develops ideas and plans for restoring the ecosystems. Life Science
related research work refers to the study of living organisms and their life
processes, it involves biology and agriculture disciplines. Health Science
related research work refers to the study of health and medicine on the physical
and mental well-being and care for people of poor health who are suffering from
various diseases due to direct genetic, environmental or artificial impact.
Biotechnology related research work uses advances in molecular biology and
biochemical manufacturing for applications in human and animal healthcare. Genetic
engineering aims to modify the genes to change and improve the capabilities of an
organism by the process of modifying their genome after careful and through
research work carried out by experts, it also involves the creation of
genetically modified organisms. The primary criteria for acceptable submissions
to Journal of Advance Science International are that the work must be
scientifically important and have the potential to advance their respective
fields and disciplines. Therefore, contributors are strongly encouraged to read
these instructions carefully before preparing a manuscript for submission. All
papers are subjected to peer reviews.
Submitted manuscripts must meet the
following criteria:

Pages should be numbered consecutively, starting with the title page and the contents
arranged in the following order: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods,
Results, Discussion and Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References, respectively.
The Abstract should start on a separate page and each Table or Figure inserted
should be on the main body of the text.
Abstract: Should
start on a new page after the title page and should present the aim of the
study, material and methods, results and conclusions, all within no more than
300 words.
Key Words: Five
to Seven keywords must be provided by authors for indexing of their article. Keywords
should be listed directly below the Abstract.
Introduction: Should start on a new page and must clearly
indicate the aim and objectives of the study and a brief history of the
content, if necessary.
Text: The text should be intelligible to readers in
different disciplines and technical terms should be defined. All symbols and
abbreviations must be defined and used only when necessary. Superscripts, subscripts
and ambiguous characters should be clearly indicated. Units of measure should
be metric or preferably SI.
Materials and Methods: This section
should include concise details on the methodology adopted sufficient to repeat
the experiment. The statistical method and the level of significance chosen
should be clearly stated.
Results: All results
presented in tabular or graphical form shall be described in this section. All
Tables and figures must have a title and a legend to make them self-explanatory
and they should be given numbers. Each table or figure should be on the main
body of the text.
Discussion: Should contain a critical review of the results of the study with the support of relevant literature. It can end with brief conclusions.
Acknowledgments: All acknowledgments should be typed in one paragraph directly preceding the reference section.
Tables or Figures: Incorporate tables or figures with their legends into the main body of text. In the case of photographs, clean prints are required with each copy of the manuscript, photocopies of photographs are not acceptable. Photomicrographs and other photographs must have a scale bar, which should be defined clearly in the legend. Lettering should be sufficiently large to be clear to adjust with the reduction to print size.
References style: We are using the Harvard Referencing style. Harvard is comprised two elements: in-text citations and a reference list.
1. In-text Citations:
- is located in the text (body)
- provides brief information
- may appear more than once (depending on how many times you use the source)
Example: There are various ethical implications in business decision-making
process (Ferrell, Fraedrich & Ferrell 2017). Ferrell, Fraedrich
& Ferrell (2017) discussed the implications of ethical
decision-making.
2.
References list:
- is located at the end of the paper
- provides the complete information
- appears only once at the end
Example: Ferrell, OC, Fraedrich, J, & Ferrell, L 2017, Business ethics: Ethical decision making & cases, 11th edn, Cengage Learning, Australia.
References should be numbered in the superscript, serially in the order in which they appear, first through the text and then through table and figure legends. References should not include unpublished source materials. The list of References at the end of the text should be in the following format:
